New Years Rulin’s & Resolutions

This time of year is big on introspection. I like to spend time thinking about the past year focusing on the highlights and, without being too hard on myself, thinking about where there was room for improvement and allowing that to inform my New Years Resolutions.

While coming up with a list of my own, I stumbled across this charming New Years Rulin’s list from 1941 written by American folk legend Woody Guthrie. I loved reading through his full list on a great blog called Lists of Note, which you can check out here.

The results of my own brainstorming session lack illustration, but I think they will carry me into 2013 with motivation, great to keep in mind both professionally and personally. Would you like to hear them?

My 2013 Resolutions are:

Be Healthy

Be Optimistic

Stay Focused

Remember What’s Important!

Happy New Year to all of you, our wonderful supporters. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. Stay tuned for big things in 2013!

Celebrating New Year’s Eve

Each year the family and I look forward to ringing in the New Year together. We like to have people over for an intimate dinner party before watching the ball drop in Times Square from the warmth and comfort of our own home. There is nothing better than celebrating all that’s happened and toasting to all that’s ahead with the people who are nearest and dearest.

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? Any resolutions?
