our process

LINNEA® home fragrances are hand poured in small batches.

What does this mean and why is it important? Hand crafting in small batches produces a highly fragrant product. By creating products in this artisanal way, we maximize our fragrance-to-wax concentration to ensure the ultimate in cold and hot scent throw without the scent flashing off the wax.

At LINNEA®, each step of our process involves the touch of human hands. From blending, pouring, packaging, and shipping to your front door, our product is designed with passion and an unwavering commitment to quality and beauty.

Our Wax

There are many wax mediums available to create candles for enjoyment. At LINNEA®, we choose to handcraft our candles using natural soy wax grown in the Midwest. Soy wax is 100% natural and biodegradable, making it safe and clean for the environment. Soy wax has a lower melting point, which allows it to burn slower and cooler, making it a sustainable American resource.

Why soy?
  • Burns Slower
  • Grown in the Midwest
  • 100% Natural & Biodegradable

Our Wicks

LINNEA® uses all-natural cotton wicks. By using cotton wicks, instead of commonly used lead wicks, it provides a safe and clean burn for the space around you. It also helps reduce the black smoke from the candle that you might have experienced with other candles.

why Cotton?
  • All Natural
  • Clean Alternative to Lead
  • Reduces Black Smoke

Our fragrances

Our coveted proprietary blends are a combination of therapeutic essential oils and cosmetic-grade fine fragrances. All our fragrance oils are cruelty-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free and Prop 65-compliant. Our blends comply with the International Fragrance Association’s safety and purity standards and all applicable international, federal, state, and local regulations.

Recycled Materials

We use recyclable paper and soy or water-based inks in our packaging. While our vessel is not made from recycled glass, we strongly recommend recycling if after the candle has been enjoyed. Since soy wax is all natural, simply wash out the vessel with dish soap and warm water before recycling. Our vessels also make exceptional barware, flower vases, and lovely storage jars for cotton balls, cotton swabs, pens, pencils, and more.
